The Z & Z Story
Chris Zimmek started Z & Z Overhead Door because he saw how homeowners were being treated by larger garage door companies. Long wait times, unclear pricing, and technicians who barely knew what they were looking at. He wanted to offer something different.
Over 30 years later, Z & Z is still a one-man operation backed by a small, reliable crew. Every estimate comes from Chris. Every job is either done by Chris or by a technician he trusts. When you call, you get a real person who knows your job and will give you a straight answer.
We serve homeowners across Western MA and Northern CT, from Springfield to Sheffield, Northampton to Windsor Locks. Most repairs are done the same day. We carry parts on the truck so we are not making two trips for a spring or a cable.
